“The Role of Lawyers in the Fight for Climate Justice”
Lord Carnwath in conversation with Joss Saunders

Monday, November 30, 2020
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM GMT

Lawyers Against Poverty is a growing movement of social justice advocates committed to alleviating poverty worldwide. As we face the global realities of the climate crisis, political upheaval, forced migration and economic collapse, join us to celebrate the collective power of the legal community to take a stand against global injustice in times of crisis.

We are delighted to welcome former Supreme Court Justice Lord Carnwath to discuss the role of lawyers in the fight for climate justice with LAP’s co-founder and Oxfam’s General Counsel, Joss Saunders.

We will also share new updates and opportunities to get involved, including what we are doing to take action for refugees in the UK, connecting a global legal community and inspiring a new generation of social justice advocates.

This is an open event, aiming to bring together anyone with an interest in social justice to find out more about LAP. For further information, please contact or click here.
