London Legal Support Trust Initiatives

At a time when we are isolating at home, the LLST is trying to bring people together, and they invite you to stretch your legs, test your brain or even do a backflip all in the name of access to justice.

10,000 Steps for Justice and the London Legal Walk

As you may already be aware we have postponed the London Legal Walk to the 5th October but will still be marking the original Walk date with 10,000 Steps for Justice on the 8th June.

10,000 Steps for Justice is a virtual event, giving you and your team the flexibility to take part in the comfort of your living room, in a local park or on your lunch break.

10,000 Steps will be a great opportunity to engage your family and colleagues in this vital cause, whether you are working from home or remaining in your office. But we also hope that it will re-ignite a strong sense of community across the legal sector as the country continues to go through this difficult period of isolation.
What do you have to do to get involved? Complete the registration form and we’ll sign you up for both 10,000 Steps and the London Legal Walk:

2.6 Challenge – Sunday 26th April

The 2.6 Challenge is an exciting new campaign from the organisers of the biggest mass participation events across the country. The 2.6 Challenge begins on Sunday 26th April 2020, which would have been the date of the 40th London Marathon.

Anyone can get involved - even your pets can play their part! All you have to do is think of a challenge around the number 2.6, 26 or if you are feeling very ambitious 260, to get involved.

You could run, skip or walk 2.6 miles, 2.6km or for 26 minutes. You could juggle for 26 minutes or complete a 26 minute exercise class. Or if sporting challenges aren’t your thing, why not bake 26 cupcakes, complete a 26-question quiz or teach your pet to perform 26 tricks?

If you are taking on a creative 2.6 Challenge and would like your own fundraising page, simply click here - this will allow you to set your challenge page up in support of the London Legal Support Trust within minutes.

If you want to join (or have capacity to sponsor) Team LLST as we take on a variety of challenges from 260 backflips on a trampoline, a 26km bike ride, 260 push-ups and skipping 2.6K then please visit:
