Young Surrey Lawyers
Young Surrey Lawyers (“YSL”) are pleased to announce the formation of the new committee made up of Rachel Lemon (Mundays LLP), Hannah Budd (Barlow Robbins), Clare Joyson (Howell Jones), Deborah Powlesland (Barlow Robbins) and Catherine Penny (Mundays LLP).
The new committee aims to:
a) Provide support to trainee solicitors, those below 10 years PQE, legal executives, paralegals and pupil barristers in the Surrey area;
b) improve networking among legal professionals in Surrey and in particular ensure trainees and newly qualified solicitors are kept up to date with Junior Lawyers Division matters;
c) make a contribution to the education of those pursuing a career in law; and
d) improve awareness of issues relating to the profession and participate in pro bono activities to connect with the community in which we work.
