Legal Brain of Surrey Quiz - Monday 22nd March College of Law, Guildford
One of the most popular events in the SLS social calendar is the Legal Brain of Surrey Quiz. This year’s Quiz will be held as always at The College of Law in Guildford on Monday 22 March and the winning team will go forward to the Southern Area Association of Law Societies (SAALS) Regional Quiz on 24th April, at the College. Our President David Steed has nominated Breast Cancer Care as the charity to benefit from the profits from the quiz, in support of the excellent services it provides.
There will be 10 rounds of questions on topics such as literature, sport, music and geography. All questions will be team questions and no questions will require even the slightest legal knowledge! The winning team will be awarded the Mike Coverley Challenge Cup, which was presented to the Surrey Law Society in memory of Mike Coverley, a well respected and liked local practitioner.
Firms can enter as many teams of 3 as they wish. The teams may be made up from anybody who works at the firm. The entry fee is £30 per team, and this includes an excellent buffet meal at half-time. The bar opens at 6.30 p.m. and the Quiz will start at 7 p.m.
